These baskets are just fantastic. They look great as open storage for many things - blankets, cushions, kids toys, fire wood or the newspaper pile before it goes for recycling. Completely handwoven by women working within a Fair Trade program in Bangladesh. The baskets are made from super durable, eco-friendly sustainably grown Jute.

You can see in the additional photos that we have taken a photo with 2 full size pillows on their ends and then laid flat in the basket to give you a good idea of how much you will be able to fit in this large size. The base is rectangular in shape and the sides are quite flexible and are easily shaped to suit round or square items depending on what you put in them. The baskets fold flat easily for transport and postage. Made by disadvantaged women trained by Tarango Handicrafts in Bangladesh and distributed in Australia by The Dharma Door.
